Matt
loved shopping at gift shops. He found a toy whip at a shop in Wall
Drug during a family vacation in South Dakota. The movie "Raiders
Of The Lost Ark" was popular then, so the whip reminded Matt
of Indiana Jones. Matt's stinky feet are legendary. On the trip,
Matt stuffed all his dirty socks into one sock, and threw it around
the van like a football while we traveled. He named the wad of socks
"The Idol" and used it to barter like Indiana Jones when
the other kids took his whip away. He'd say, "You throw me
the whip, I'll throw you the idol."
