Matt traveled to a lot of dog shows around the country. Both Matt and Lisa competed in Junior Show classes. For Matt, it was more about dressing up in a suit than it was about showing dogs. He rarely practiced, but he didn't really need to. He was a natural, and he usually won a ribbon. He was always a hit at the Belgian Sheepdog Club specialty shows.
He was a star fundraiser, and loved
to sell raffle tickets. It was difficult to say no to him, no matter how many tickets you had already bought. If you told him you didn't have any more money, he would direct you to the cash machine in the lobby!
