Any game that required "giving it all you've got" was Matt's kind of game. Matt was an amazing baseball player. He loved to run, jump, slide, catch and pitch. He had an incredible arm. Even when he was very young, he could accurately throw the ball home from second base. Although he could play any position well, he liked pitching the most. The first game he pitched, he threw almost all strikes. He would throw a strike, then the catcher would throw the ball back to him. Without a pause, Matt would immediately throw another pitch. The poor batters were stunned, and never had a chance to recover between pitches.
